SmartCompliance is trusted by thousands of road transport operators to safeguard their operators license and keep them on the road.

Automatically analysing and checking data from thousands of drivers and vehicles every day, the SmartCompliance platform provides a complete picture of drivers’ hours and tachograph compliance, driving license and driver CPC verification with the DVLA and mobile driver vehicle safety checks. SmartCompliance includes Descartes SmartAnalysis, the UK’s leading tachograph analysis and reporting Software as a Service for fleets of all sizes.

You send your tachograph data to SmartAnalysis, and we do the analysis and make reports available to give you a complete picture of your compliance with drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations. SmartAnalysis also provides KPIs for the DVSA’s Earned Recognition program and Descartes is a validated IT supplier by the DVSA for drivers’ hours KPIs. SmartAnalysis provides free tools for debriefing drivers and managing driver CPC training to minimise infringements and focus time and effort on the drivers that need it most. One platform – one login – one password. One complete picture of compliance.

The integration with Geotab enables you to send your digital tachograph data to Descartes SmartAnalysis for analysis and reporting automatically to a set schedule. This eliminates the need for drivers to download their driver card data and the vehicles having to return to the depot to download the VU data. Data is sent to SmartAnalysis whilst the vehicle is operating and can save the operator hours each week (depending on fleet size) in downloading tachograph data and will ensure that digital tachograph driver card and VU data is always downloaded on time.
