Eccocar helps rental companies digitize customer check-in, vehicle handover, return, and temporary vehicle access, reducing manual processes and physical key handling.

Integrated with Geotab, Eccocar connects to a Geotab account and supports vehicles equipped with the Geotab GO + IOX-KEYBOX. From the Eccocar administration panel, rental agents can link Geotab-connected devices to vehicles and retrieve key vehicle data, including location, odometer, and battery level, on demand.

The integration also enables temporary vehicle access through expiring digital key links, allowing customers, drivers, and operations teams to access the right vehicle without a traditional key handover.

Combined with Eccocar’s digital check-in, document processing, payment and deposit workflows, and guided pick-up and return processes, the Geotab integration creates a more connected and automated rental experience with less staff intervention.
