The FJ2500 is an enterprise-grade, sealed asset tracker designed to handle the most advanced asset-tracking applications and to withstand extreme operating conditions. The tracker has a wide operating range between 6 – 90 VDC to support 12/24/48/72V vehicles, ultra-low sleep power currents to preserve battery life, and robust I/O capabilities.
Available with two different configurations: 8-wire and 12-wire. The 8-wire is our core device, while the 12-wire has additional components to support the BLE gateway with light and heavy-duty CAN functionality.
The FJ2500 is integrated into the MyGeotab™ platform. Users add the FJ2500 to the platform via the device serial number. GPS coordinates and additional data (e.g., battery level, device power change, and ignition status) collected by the tracker are transmitted to Geotab’s Data Intake Gateway and are visible on the same UI as other Geotab devices.
