With the IOX-ALERT, a driver can push an alert button (button not included[a][b][c]) to send a notification to their dispatcher. When the alert button is activated, a specific Engine Diagnostic is recorded in MyGeotab. Exception rules can be set to trigger in response to this diagnostic. The IOX-ALERT is ideal if you want an alert function similar to that of the IOX-SATIRDv2, but do not require the IRIDIUM satellite connection.

Note: This product is not recommended for use in safety-critical applications as inadvertent delays or a failure to notify the appropriate parties could occur in some cases.
