ORIGOInspect is a three-part solution consisting of an app on the driver’s tablet, an add-in to the Geotab Drive App and an add-in to MyGeotab.
It is a tool for drivers to use when performing pre-trip, in-trip, and post-trip inspections. The app activates a timer, step-counter, and GPS on the driver’s tablet to measure and map their circumnavigation of the vehicle(s).
The goal is to increase awareness of the importance of proper inspections and to give the fleet managers visibility to any pencil-whipping or improper inspections.
Features And Benefits
- GPS Recording – Shows the drivers trip around their truck
- Step counter – Shows the number of steps taken for the inspection. If outside the threshold an alert will be sent to the administrator.
- Timer – As soon as the driver starts the inspection, a timer will start and show on their screen. If outside the threshold an exception will be generated on the dashboard.
- Exception based dashboard
- Photo capture of defects with doodle feature.
