SafeTouch is a vehicle safety verification system that confirms a driver has completed a required walk-around inspection before driving. The driver performs a deliberate action at the rear of the vehicle, creating a recorded compliance event that documents due diligence.

SafeTouch integrates with Geotab GO9 through the IOX ecosystem. When a walk-around is completed, a compliance event is sent to Geotab; if the vehicle moves without a valid inspection, a non-compliance event is generated. These results can be reported and analyzed through Geotab reporting tools and fleet dashboards.
