TruckY is the ADAS plug&play device capable of increasing the environmental sustainability of heavy-duty vehicles and offering an economic advantage to their operators thanks to its patented algorithm. It offers a reduction in fuel consumption up to 30% and the related polluting emissions, without increasing travel times and modifications to the vehicle. As you drive, TruckY processes V2X information about road elevation, payload, speed limits, traffic conditions and vehicle’s characteristics to manage the speed in the most efficient way.

Integration of MinervaS’s services into Geotab Marketplace consists of two different features.
The first feature is an offline preliminary analysis, allowing fleet companies to assess the energy consumption profiles of different vehicles on different routes. The potential economical savings and environmental impact of an optimized driving profile is also given as an additional output and can be used as a benchmark to compare drivers performances. The comparative analysis can be further improved once historical data are available. 

The second feature is the real-time context-aware speed advisor offered by TruckY. Based on the real-time data received from the Geotab device, while driving TruckY suggests the driver the optimal speed to keep in order to reduce energy consumption and emissions. This feature also allows fleet companies to assess driver behavior and performances along a specific journey, to identify focused improvement areas for training.
