Geotab Integration

Mecanica has a long-standing history of collaboration with Geotab over the last twelve years.  In support of developing GPS-based telematics data for some Geotab customers, Mecanica’s team of scientists worked closely with Geotab engineers to run independent testing and evaluation sessions to compare the Geotab reported data for vehicle position, vehicle speed, and accelerometer data to validate the quality of the data.  

Mecanica’s team of scientists also conducted a series of testing and evaluation studies to validate the quality of data when Geotab’s patented Curve Logic was applied to a data set that could reduce the size of telematics data size by approximately 30% without degrading the quality of the data.
